Airspray joins forces with TricorBraun
Airspray has reached a distribution agreement with TricorBraun, the largest packaging distributor in the USA. TricorBraun, with 26 offices throughout the USA, will increase Airspray's market presence, especially at the small and mid-size accounts. The Airspray sales organisation will continue to serve the existing customer base and will work together with TricorBraun representatives to increase penetration.

Airspray delivers strong continued growth
Airspray's turnover for the year 2000 grew 46% to EUR 21,6 mln (1999: EUR 14,8 mln). Result before taxes amounted to EUR 5,4 mln (1999: EUR 4.0 mln), a growth of 37%. The net result increased 21% to EUR 4,6 mln (1999: EUR 3.8 MM). As announced earlier, the growth of the net result was influenced by an increasing tax rate (15% in 2000 against 4% in 1999) due to the elimination of tax carry forward losses.

Airspray improves margins in Q3
Airspray's turnover and results in the third quarter of 2000 were on course for the realisation of the company's earlier forecast for the year 2000. Airspray maintains its forecast of a 35% to 45% increase in turnover and pre-tax results compared with 1999. The tax burden in 2000 is expected to be between 10% and 15% as a result of the reduced amount of tax-deductible losses.

At the same time, the company -- based in The Netherlands -- reported a 45% increase in revenue for the first half of 2000, versus sales growth of 19% growth for 1999.

Airspray receives new orders
Airspray said on Monday that it has obtained significant orders for the recently introduced Table Top Foamer. It involves orders totalling millions of dispensers that will be used for hand soap and bath and shower products, Airspray said. These market segments are new to Airspray. In addition to large American multinationals, a number of other manufacturers have also chosen the Table Top Foamer as the dispenser for the introduction of new consumer products. Financial details were not disclosed.

Airspray Q1 turnover up 40%
Airspray said its turnover and profit develop very positively in the first quarter of 2000 and both were at the high end of the earlier forecast. Turnover increased by 40% in the first three months of 2000. By comparison, in the first half of 1999, turnover rose by 11% and by 26% in the second half of 1999. In view of the developments in the first quarter and the well-filled order book, Airspray remains very positive on the full-year results.

Airspray reported on Wednesday net profit for the first-half of 1999 increased 23% to NLG 3.2 mln, compared with net profit of NLG 2.6 mln the company booked in the comparible period of 1998. Airspray more than doubled profits in 1998 to NLG 5.7 mln from NLG 2.4 mln in 1997. Sales rose to NLg 27.4 mln from NLG 14.6 mln in the same period. Airspray was launched last year on Amsterdam's NMAX bourse, predicts profit growth in 1999 of at least 45%. Environmental protection laws in the US were one of the main factors which stimulated profit gains at Airspray. Airspray's pump sprayers for cosmetics are a highly sought-after alternative to aerosol cans.

Airspray reported net profit doubled last year compared with the NLG 2.4 mln posted in 1997. Airspray is forecasting a similar rise in net earnings for the current year. The company will release definitive 1998 earnings figures on March 17. Airspray said turnover rose 85% to NLG 27 mln last year. Subscriptions were closed on Tuesday after only two days due to string interest from investors. The issue of one million shares was 50 times oversubscribed.
