Local flights from Hilversum
Earlier in the week the weather forecast for Wednesday November 11th looked reasonable. René had agreed with Fernando and Marco to fly. We were going to eat something in Muiden first. Unfortunately the weather was not so good on the day itself, but it would get better in the second half of the afternoon. Because of the coronavirus it was allowed to fly with only one passenger. That measure had just entered into force that week.
In Muiden we saw each other in the center.
By coincidence we saw the boat of Sinterklaas
(St. Nicholas).
There were television recordings at the Muiderslot.
That Saturday Sinterklaas would arrive in the Netherlands.
When we were in Muiden the weather wasn't good enough.
We drove to Hilversum to see if we could walk a bit in the area, and maybe still fly a bit.
In Hilversum the weather was still not good. We only made two local flights. The first flight was with Fernando. Meanwhile Marco was trying to recharge his car.
After a short tour over Utrecht, between the clouds, we went back to Hilversum. After that Marco went with René for the second flight. Although the plan for the afternoon was different it was very nice to see Fernando and Marco again.
