From Palo Alto to Columbia

On Friday, July 16 2004 we made a round trip to former gold rush town Columbia and to Atwater with two Piper's. Laurence joined Hans in the N4383A and Maurits flew with Rene in the N4390D.

From Columbia to Castle, Atwater

After visiting the old town of Columbia we went on to Castle Airport, the former Castle Air Force Base which closed in 1995. There we visited the Castle Air Museum.

After visting the museum we flew back to Palo Alto.
